What icon designs do my users like better?

Decisions based on users' feedback should be made during every step of the design process. The epitome of this is to ask users directly, which of our designs do they like best, and why?. The best way to do this is with a Preference Test.

In this Preference Test study, we've shown the users a simple set of icons made for our UX research environment. It includes questions such as: “Which icon do you prefer for recruiting respondents?”. We've also tested which icon they find the most suitable for a specific purpose.

Based on the percentage of users that preferred each design, as well as the statistical significance to see how valid these results really are, we were able to pick the final design.
