Is this database compatible with the study I want to run?

Yes, you can recruit participants from your database for ANY UXtweak study.

How much do I need to pay for recruiting from my database?

Nothing. Recruiting using your Own Database is already a part of your subscription. You will, however, need to be subscribed either to our Business or Enterprise plan to be able to recruit.

Is there any limit on how many participants I can recruit?

No, you can recruit all of the participants available in your database. However, if you want to invite participants using UXtweak's mailing system, there is a monthly limit on the number of emails sent based on your current plan. To learn more, please refer to our pricing page .

Adding participants into your database

CSV file

Upload your participants into your database using a .csv file. One row will represent one participant and all their data. All standard separators are supported.

XLSX file

Not a fan of the .csv file? Not a problem. Use your existing database you have in Excel or Google sheets and migrate your participants with ease.

Manual import

When you need to add just a few new participants, creating a file for import is unnecessary. Simply use our interface to add them manually.

How to recruit from Own Database

1. Choose who to invite

Create a recruiting from your Own Database and target your audience by selecting the appropriate Segments. Alternatively you can apply the filters directly and target your audience without Segments.

2. Invite chosen respondents

Use our own mailing service to automatically invite respondents into your study. Design how the email should look like and we will take care of the rest.

3. Watch as responses come

Once the recruiting starts, you can use the overview tab to monitor how your recruiting is going. You can see if there were any bounces, how many respondents completed your study etc.
