An overview of all contents in Prototype Testing results

You analyze the results of your Prototype Testing study through different views, each providing a different lense for looking at your data. Here's a brief summary of all contents of the Results:

Overview

The overview tab serves for quickly checking on the state of your study. It shows you things like the number of respondents, how long it takes the respondents to complete the study and what was their rate of success and directness.

Respondents

The respondents tab lists all of your respondents and allows you to view all the details of their participation (personal details, questionnaire answers, task solutions, etc.). Access the recordings of each respondent from their designated tile. You can also filter your respondents or select which ones should be included in the analysis.

Task Player

The task player is one of the central elements of Prototype Testing. This is where you replay your respondent's task completion. Watch the recordings of their screen and their face and listen to any feedback they provide by thinking out loud.

Questionnaire

Analyze the answers to your pre-study, post-study and post task questionnaires. Delve deep into the additional insights provided by your respondents.

Task Statistics

Shows you stats and diagrams of how the respondents did in each individual task, how successful and direct they were with their solutions. The overall score of the task is also calculated here.

Paths

A summary of all paths that the respondents took while navigating the prototype and how many respondents took each one.

Heatmaps and funnels

Using the funnels, explore how participants progressed through your designs and where they veered off the correct path. By analyzing the heatmaps and clickmaps learn which sections of the designs were clicked the most.

Lostness

Lostness tells you whether and how much people were getting lost while solving the tasks on your prototype.

Comments

Respondents can leave comments throughout the entire study. Here you will find a summary of people's comments.

Export

In the export tab, you can generate a custom PDF export of your study results that can include anything that you see in the web results. You can also create CSV exports for external data analysis. You can also export the video recordings here as well. Export the Screen recordings and/or the Face Recordings in .mp4 format. The voice recordings are automatically included in both videos.

Share

The share tab is where you can set up access to the results of your study to people outside of your team.
