What content organization makes sense to my users?
When we require help with organizing content from the ground up, Card Sorting is the best research tool we can turn to.
The topic of this Card Sorting study is a blog about pregnancy and parenting. We wanted to see what would be the most natural way to group articles, so we asked a group of young parents to sort thirty articles into groups. Since we didn't want to be bound to our blog's old structure, we decided to use open Card Sorting, where users are asked to come up with categories of their own.
Thanks to the UXtweak Standardization function we can then group similar categories and get a better picture of different approaches to sorting our content.
